About Shyla Stylez
Shyla Stylez was born on September 23, 1982, in Armstrong, British Columbia, Canada, and died on November 9, 2017, in the same town, at age 35. She was a Canadian porn star, adult model, and exotic dancer of German heritage. She began her career in 2001, around age 18, and remained active for 13 years, retiring in 2014. Her work in the adult industry earned her recognition, including induction into the AVN Hall of Fame in 2016 and the Urban X Awards Hall of Fame in 2011. Maxim named her one of the top 12 female porn stars in 2010.
Stylez moved to Los Angeles in 2000 at age 18. She appeared in productions by Anabolic Productions and Jim Kelly Productions, and later married CEO Bob Friedland, working exclusively for Jill Kelly Productions. She stayed with the company until 2005, when she temporarily left the industry after her divorce. During her hiatus, she had her breasts further enhanced to 36DD (they had been augmented to 32D in two operations in 2002).
