About Seyma Ercan
Seyma Ercan is a Turkish volleyball player who has been active since 2011. She was born on Tuesday, 5 July 1994 in Ankara, Turkey, and she is 32 years old. Standing 6'2" tall and weighing 161 lbs, she plays as a wing spiker. Her career began early: she started playing volleyball in 2005 at Gazi University's Sport Club, encouraged by coach Elif Öz. In 2009, at age 15, she joined the A-team competing in the Turkish Women's Volleyball Second League.
Seyma transferred to Beşiktaş in Istanbul for the 2011-2012 season. In September 2012, she signed a three-year contract with Eczacıbaşı VitrA, which loaned her to Bursa Büyükşehir Belediyespor for a year. She then spent two years at Eczacıbaşı before moving to Fenerbahçe Grundig in 2015. Currently, she plays for Türk Hava Yolları. She has been a member of the Turkey women's youth national team and wears number 5.
Internationally, Seyma debuted with the girls' youth national team in 2011 at the CEV Girls Youth Volleyball European Championship, where her team won gold and she received the Best Server title. She also won the 2012 Women's Junior European Volleyball Championship with the national team. With 92k Instagram followers, she maintains an active presence online.
