Serenay Sarikaya

Serenay Sarikaya is a Turkish actress who has been active in the industry since 2006, starting her career at a young age. Over the past two decades, she has built a reputation as one of Turkey's most prominent performers, with a substantial following of over 10 million on Instagram. Her work spans television, film, and theater, showcasing her versatility across genres.

Born in Ankara, Turkey, in 1992, Sarikaya trained at the Fine Arts High School in Istanbul, where she studied theater. At fourteen, she made her acting debut with a minor role in the movie Şaşkın, followed by a part in Plajda. Her first leading role came in the children's fantasy series Peri Masalı, and her breakthrough arrived with the crime comedy Adanalı, where she played Sofia. She later gained international attention for her performances in popular shows like Lale Devri, Medcezir, Fi, and the fantasy series Şahmaran.

Sarikaya has also appeared in films alongside Nejat İşler, including Behzat Ç. Ankara Yanıyor and İkimizin Yerine. Since 2019, she has performed in Alice Müzikali, a musical based on Alice in Wonderland. Her accolades include two Golden Butterfly Awards, and she was named Woman of the Year by GQ Turkey in 2014. She also participated in the Miss Turkey 2010 pageant, finishing as the first runner-up. At 5'9" with an athletic build and brown hair and eyes, she stands out in her field.
