About Serena Williams
Serena Williams is a former professional tennis player who dominated the sport for over two decades. She is American, born in Saginaw, Michigan, and began her career in 1995 at around 13 years old, retiring in 2022 after 27 years of active play. Throughout her career, she won 20 Grand Slam titles: 10 in singles, 8 in doubles, and 2 in mixed doubles. She also captured two Olympic gold medals in women's doubles. Williams is the most recent female player to hold all four Grand Slam singles titles simultaneously, and she is the only active female player to have won all four Grand Slam tournaments during her career, with one French Open, two Wimbledon, four Australian Opens, and three US Opens. She has won more career prize money than any other female athlete in history and was ranked World No.1 by the Women's Tennis Association on four separate occasions.
Williams is the younger sister of Venus Williams, another former World No.1 player. The sisters have faced each other in 20 professional matches since 1998, with their head-to-head tied at 10–10. They are the only women in the Open era to have played each other in four consecutive Grand Slam singles finals. Williams's athletic build, at 5'9" and 200 lbs, was a key part of her powerful playing style. She has several distinctive features: a tattoo on her higher back, a navel piercing, and natural breasts with a 36DD bra cup size. Her measurements are 36–29–38, giving her a waist-to-hip ratio of 0.76. In 2005, Tennis Magazine ranked her as the 17th-best player of the previous 40 years.
Beyond her on-court achievements, Williams has an athletic body type and black hair with brown eyes. She is known for her solo nudity, appearing topless in some photos. Her Instagram following of 18.1 million reflects her lasting influence in the sports world.
