Sandra Edwards

Slim with brown hair and blue eyes, Sandra Edwards stood 5'7" and weighed 120 lbs with measurements of 36–20–36. She was born on March 12, 1938, in Los Angeles, California, and was American of Caucasian ethnicity. Her career spanned multiple roles: actress, adult model, centerfold, exotic dancer, and Playboy model. She was straight and her bra size was 34C. She had no tattoos or piercings, and her breasts were real and natural.

Edwards gained fame as Playboy's Playmate of the Month for March 1957, with her centerfold photographed by Peter Gowland. She also posed for other men's magazines and worked as a showgirl in Las Vegas. As a contract player at Warner Bros., she appeared in films such as The Crowded Sky (1960) and A Fever in the Blood (1961), as well as TV roles in shows like Hawaiian Eye and Maverick. She was part Cherokee, a detail often noted in her background.

Her personal life took a dramatic turn. She married actor Tom Gilson on December 8, 1961, and they had a son, Thomas S. Gilson Jr. After Gilson became abusive, she separated from him in August 1962 and moved in with her sister and brother-in-law. On October 6, 1962, when Gilson broke into the house, she shot and killed him with a shotgun. A coroner's jury ruled it justifiable homicide, but the scandal ended her acting career. She died on June 2, 2017, at age 79.
