Sandra, nicknamed "Ch'tiote Nénette," first stepped into the public eye in 2002 as a contestant on the second season of Loft Story, a show that helped launch reality TV in France. At just twenty years old, she made it to sixth place before her elimination on June 13, 2002. The season was ultimately won by Karine Delgado and Thomas Saillofest.
