Samara Redway

Samara's early life involved moving next to her grandparents' house as a toddler, where she spent much of her childhood. Her father left the family when she was young, which deepened her bond with her mother. Following her mother's second marriage and the birth of step-siblings, Samara spent more time with her grandparents. Her relationship with her stepfather was strained, and her mother later divorced again. Samara struggled with isolation and anxiety during this period, but she excelled academically. She attended the University of Alberta, where she began making funny videos to pass the time. After her grandmother's death, she moved back to Vancouver and studied at the University of Calgary but found it difficult. She took a year off and moved to Australia, eventually returning to Vancouver with renewed energy.

Samara's romantic involvement with Andre, the man behind her YouTube channel, led her to start making videos. On December 5, 2024, she and Andre Rebello, also known as Typical Gamer, live-streamed their wedding on his YouTube channel.
