Biography
About Robyn Hilton
Robyn Hilton was born on July 13, 1944, in Carthage, Missouri, and began her career in the mid-1960s. In her twenties she posed nude for men's publications and acted in short topless loops and Nudie Cutie films. She met Mitch Orenstein, owner of M.O.R.E. Publications, and their professional relationship soon became personal. Orenstein featured her extensively in his magazines, and by 1971 he had started M.O.R.E. Films, producing the kind of material Robyn had already been performing in.
Her big break came in 1974 when Mel Brooks cast her in the comedy hit "Blazing Saddles" as Miss Stein, secretary to the incompetent Governor LePetomaine. That year she also appeared in Playboy twice, fully clothed. After Blazing Saddles, she took roles in mainstream films and television, including "Starsky and Hutch." When work dried up, she returned to adult film. In 1976, M.O.R.E. Publications released a special 124-page issue dedicated to her, with over 200 pictures. Only 100 copies were printed before the company went out of business. From 1975 to 1977 she acted in six adult feature films and two dozen sex shorts.
In 1978, a fire destroyed Orenstein's warehouse in Carson City, Nevada, and most of her adult work was lost. That era survives mainly in rumors. She modeled exercise outfits in the early 1980s, and her final credited role was as Maid Marian in "Malibu Express" (1985). She retired from film and left M.O.R.E. Publications in 1990. Hilton is now 82 years old, with red hair, brown eyes, and a slim build. She stands 5'10".
