Biography
About Rin Asahina
Rin Asahina is a founding member of Lilite tune, a group she helped launch from the start. She also holds 0th generation status with Zero Project, and is a former founding member of Policy. That track record makes her one of the more enduring figures in Japan's independent idol scene. Born in Tokyo on June 7, 1993, the 33-year-old J-pop idol stands just 5'3", with a slim build. Her Japanese roots and Asian ethnicity are central to her public image as a domestic idol performer. Beyond group work, she engages with fans through Instagram, where her following is small at 6k, yet she remains a consistent presence in the community. Her career spans multiple projects, a rarity among idols who typically stick with one group for their entire run.
