Renee Tenison

Tenison's career took off when she became Playboy's Playmate of the Month in November 1989, followed by being named Playmate of the Year for 1990. She was the first Playmate of the Year of African American descent. In 2001, readers of Black Men magazine selected her as one of the ten sexiest women of the year. She also appeared on several Playboy covers, including the US June 1990 issue. Her work with Playboy included numerous pictorials and appearances in special editions like Playboy's Book of Lingerie and Playboy's Nudes.

One of the most memorable moments in her Playboy career came in August 2002, when she posed with her twin sister Rosie for the magazine. The sisters appeared together in several international editions, including Croatia, Greece, and the Netherlands. Rosie and Renee also modeled together in other Playboy features, such as the 'Twins' pictorial in Playboy South Africa.

Beyond Playboy, Tenison pursued acting, although details of her roles are not widely documented. She has largely kept her personal life private, and there are no public records of her being married or having children. Her legacy in modeling history is tied to her groundbreaking Playboy achievements and her striking resemblance to her twin sister.
