Regan Rathwell

Regan Rathwell is a Canadian competitive swimmer who has been active in the sport since 2016, when she was around 12 years old. That gives her a decade of experience by 2026, an unusually long career for someone still only 22. Born on February 11, 2004, in Ottawa, Ontario, she specializes in backstroke events, a discipline that demands both technique and endurance. Standing 5'9" (175 cm), her height gives her a natural advantage in the water, where longer reaches translate into faster times. Racing for over ten years, she has built a steady presence in the sport, though her competitive results are not detailed here. Her Instagram following sits at 5k, a modest number that reflects her focus on athletics rather than social media fame. She continues to train and compete, representing Canada in a sport where national pride runs deep. Her journey from a young swimmer in Ottawa to a seasoned competitor shows the kind of dedication that often goes unnoticed outside the pool. Still, her age and early start suggest her best years may lie ahead.
