Biography
About Reagan Wilson
With her statuesque frame, piercing blue eyes, and a crown of blonde hair, she embodied the quintessential Playboy aesthetic of the late 1960s. Reagan Wilson, born Reagan Diana Wilson on March 6, 1947, in Torrance, California, was an American adult model and centerfold who captured widespread attention as Playboy's Playmate of the Month for October 1967. Standing at an impressive 5'10" with a slim build and natural 36D bust, she posed for her pictorial in both blonde and brunette styles, though her natural hair color was brown. Her early life included time in Santa Monica, where she attended Roosevelt Elementary School, and later a move to Missoula, Montana, following her parents' divorce. She studied journalism at the University of Montana, hinting at interests beyond the camera lens.
Her rise to fame came through her centerfold, captured by photographer Ron Vogel, which became part of a curious piece of space history. In November 1969, a miniature version of her centerfold traveled to the Moon aboard Apollo 12, hidden as a joke by NASA ground staff inside the schedule of mission commander Pete Conrad. It was certain to have made the trip to the lunar surface, though whether it was taken outside during the moonwalk remains unknown. Reagan later returned to the pages of Playboy for the December 1979 pictorial "Playmates Forever!", again posing nude.
Today, Reagan lives in Los Angeles with her husband Barry, where the couple runs an antique store. She passed away on March 20, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving behind a legacy as one of Playboy's memorable early Playmates. Her career, marked by a mix of glamour and a brush with outer space, continues to intrigue enthusiasts of the magazine's golden era. She was straight, Caucasian, and had a 40–25–35 figure, measurements that contributed to her standout presence in the industry.
