The 26-year-old German musician from Frankfurt, Hesse, has been active since 2019, when she began uploading drum covers to social media. Her approach was distinctive: short, one-minute covers on Instagram rather than full-length versions on YouTube, a strategy that quickly built her an audience of 1.4 million followers.

Meissner's musical journey started early. She played the oboe until age 14, then switched to drums, learning her first song, "Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana. Her brother initially wanted to learn drums, which sparked her own interest. She later joined the band Santa Jaws and toured Germany and Austria on the Psychovillage tour as their drummer.
