Rachel Jean Marteen

Rachel Jean Marteen was discovered by Playboy when her picture appeared in the portfolio of a photographer applying for work with the magazine. The photographer didn't get hired, but Rachel did. That twist of fate led to her becoming Playboy Playmate of the Month for August 1995. It all happened quickly, and Rachel attributes much of her success to luck and her friendly disposition. She's the kind of person who interrupts an interview to ask about the other person, a trait she says her parents taught her.

Raised on a farm outside Cartersville, Georgia, in a rural, conservative town, Rachel grew up in a family she describes as even more wholesome than the Waltons. Sundays were spent at the Baptist Church, and she notes that Cartersville has more churches than houses. The youngest of three girls, she learned the value of hard work early. To pay for college, she worked an eight-to-four job and then taught aerobics. She also began her modeling career after winning the Ms. White County competition in 1983. At 56 years old, she is American, with black hair and brown eyes. She stands 5'7" and has a slim build with measurements of 34–24–35. Her bra cup size is 32B, and her breasts are real and natural. She has performed solo nudity in her work as a Playboy Model.
