Born in Lexington, Massachusetts, on February 22, 1966, she is an American actress, comedian, and writer of Caucasian ethnicity with brown hair, blue eyes, and an average body type with natural 32D breasts.

Dratch's career spans three decades, from 1994 to the present, marked by a wide range of roles, though her signature skit, "Debbie Downer," remains her most recognized creation. Beyond comedy, she authored the book Girl Walks Into a Bar..., detailing a 2009 encounter in a bar with John Wahl. Six months later she learned she was pregnant, and on August 24, 2010, gave birth to their son Eli Benjamin.
