Rachel Blakely

Australian actress Rachel Blakely was born on 28 July 1968 in Malaysia, though she grew up in Brunei, Borneo. Her father was American and her mother Australian, and due to his oil business, the family moved frequently before settling on an Australian farm when she was twelve. She is 5'7" with brown hair and blue eyes, and she has an average build.

Before acting, Blakely worked as a nightclub bouncer, a model, and a short order cook. She was discovered by a Neighbours casting director and played Gaby Willis from August 1991 until late 1993, later reprising the role for the 20th anniversary episode in 2005. She is also known for roles in The Lost World, Young Hercules, and Mortified, and she made guest appearances on Xena: Warrior Princess and Flipper. Blakely married actor Peter Craig in 1990, but they divorced. She later partnered with stuntman Sean Rigby, and they have two children, Cooper Lee and Nash. In her spare time, she enjoys camping, sewing, painting, cooking, and sleeping, and her favourite authors are Margaret Atwood and Tracy Chevalier.
