Biography
About Rachael Ryan
Rachael Ryan stepped away from her career in 1994 after a decade in adult entertainment, but her earlier years were marked by high-profile headlines. By 1988, she had a small role in Clean and Sober, starring Michael Keaton, and she and Keaton reportedly had a widely reported affair in the late 1980s. She was also linked to Jack Nicholson, again reportedly.
Born in Shaker Heights, Ohio, and raised as an American, she worked as an adult model and porn star from 1984 to 1994. Over that time, she appeared in over 200 adult video or film projects, often under pseudonyms like Rachel, Ingrid Elliot, Penny Lamoore, Penny Morgan, and Penny Moore. Her look was natural and slim, with brown hair and grey eyes, standing 5'7".
Her personal life also drew attention. On April 27, 1992, she married actor Richard Mulligan, who was 59 at the time, roughly twice her age. The marriage ended in divorce less than a year later. Porn actor Mike Horner remembered her after her passing in 2020: "She was a very pretty girl and was a good actress by porn standards. She dated a few Hollywood actors and thought they could get her into movies or TV but it wasn't in the cards." She died on May 18, 2020, in Beverly Hills, CA.
