Pat Barrington

Pat Barrington was an American actress and exotic dancer who built a career in the sexploitation films of the 1960s.

Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, on October 16, 1939, she began working in 1959 at around 19 years old. Her first credited role came in 1965's Orgy of the Dead, which was scripted by Ed Wood. She was billed as Pat Barringer for that film. She went on to appear in two notable movies in 1966: Russ Meyer's Mondo Topless and William Rotsler's The Agony of Love. Both were part of the popular "nudie-cuties" and "roughies" genres of the era. Her career spanned 34 years, running until 1993.

Barrington's time in the industry was not without incident. During the filming of Orgy of the Dead, Ed Wood reportedly walked into the KTTV station commissary wearing her gold wig. This drew jokes from actor Billy Barty, who was present. Co-actor John Andrews later recalled her harshly, suggesting she lacked acting talent and noting that her breasts were enhanced. Barrington had brown hair, hazel eyes, and stood 5'2" tall. She had a slim body type with a DD bra cup size, and she performed full nudity in her solo work.

She passed away on September 1, 2014, at the age of 74.
