Park Gyu-young

Park Gyu-young was born on a Tuesday in Busan, South Korea, in 1993. Her path to acting began unexpectedly in 2015 when JYP Entertainment spotted her on the cover of a college magazine called Daehaknaeil. She made her debut in 2016 with a role in Jo Kwon's music video "Crosswalk," then spent the next few years building her resume with supporting parts in dramas like Solomon's Perjury, Rain or Shine, and The Third Charm, as well as web dramas Magic School and Miss Independent Jieun. In 2018 she moved to film with Wretches and Love+Sling.

Her big break came in 2020 with her first main role in the tvN drama It's Okay to Not Be Okay, opposite Kim Soo-hyun and Seo Yea-ji. That same year she appeared in Netflix's hit series Sweet Home. In 2021 she played Yoon Soo Hyun in The Devil Judge and then took her first terrestrial lead role in Dali & Cocky Prince. By 2023, Park starred in the Netflix original Celebrity, which earned her international recognition, and she also headlined A Good Day to Be a Dog alongside Cha Eun-woo. The following year she joined the cast of Squid Game.

Park is an actress and influencer with a large Instagram following. She stands 5'7", has black hair and brown eyes, and maintains a slim build.
