Ola Ray (Playmate)

Ola Ray is best known as the girlfriend of Michael Jackson in the Thriller music video, a role that made her a lasting figure in pop culture. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, she began her career in 1980 at age 19, and that same year she was named Playboy's Playmate of the Month for June. She also held that honor for Playboy Spain and Playboy France in June 1980, followed by Playboy Japan in July 1980 and Brazil in April 1984.

Ray worked as an actress and adult model before stepping away from those fields. Her time on Thriller brought fame, but also frustration. She struggled to collect royalties from the video and initially blamed Jackson, eventually suing him in May 2009 over unpaid earnings. At 65, she remains an American Black woman of petite stature, standing 5'2" with a slim build and natural 32B bust. Her straight brown eyes and black hair are part of her enduring look.
