Nelly Montiel

Nelly Montiel, an Argentine actress with auburn hair, began her career in 1936 at around 18 years old. She was active for 15 years, until 1951. She is remembered for her roles in films such as Campeón sin corona (1946), El secreto de la solterona (1945), and Rancho de mis recuerdos (1946). Her life was cut short in a car accident on September 14, 1951, in Iguala, Guerrero, Mexico, at the age of 32. Despite her brief career, she left a mark on Mexican cinema of the 1940s.
