Nell McAndrew

McAndrew first appeared on UK television as a hostess on the game show Man O Man in 1996. She later became a Page Three girl for the Daily Star. Her big break came as the model for Lara Croft in the video game Tomb Raider between 1998 and 1999. She was let go from that role in 1999 after posing nude for Playboy, partly because the magazine printed references to Lara Croft on its cover, which were removed after the game's maker, Eidos, threatened a lawsuit.

After leaving Tomb Raider, she built a successful career as a glamour model, appearing frequently in FHM, Maxim, and Loaded, as well as fitness magazines like Shape and Personal Trainer. She has also been called a Forces Sweetheart, having visited UK Armed Forces bases all over the world. Her television work includes presenting on Racing Rivals, Born to Fight, It's a Knockout, and The Big Breakfast, and she has been a contestant on shows like Fort Boyard, I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, Celebrities Under Pressure, Family Fortunes, and Dancing On Ice.

Her first fitness video, Peak Energy, was released in 2002 and became a best seller, followed by Maximum Impact in December 2003 and Ultimate Challenge, Ultimate Results in December 2004. In 2003 she was voted Yorkshire Woman of the Year and in 2005 she won Rear of the Year. McAndrew has also been part of PR campaigns for Yorkshire Water, including a digital version of herself in their Sewer Raider item on the company website, and she fronted an advertising campaign for Activia Yoghurt. In January 2009, she helped Benenden Healthcare Society launch their "Fresh Start, Get on Track" campaign, appearing in nationwide radio interviews and online webchats.
