Biography
About Natalia Kills
Natalia Kills is a Jamaican and British former actress and musician, born Natalia Noemi Keery-Fisher on August 15, 1986, in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. She grew up moving between the UK, Spain, and Jamaica. Her career began early; she appeared in the BBC sitcom All About Me in 2002 under her birth name. Before signing with will.i.am's Cherrytree Records, she released music under names like Verbalicious and Teddy Verbalicious. She adopted the moniker Natalia Kills and released her debut album Perfectionist in 2011, followed by Trouble in 2013. Known for a dark pop-noir style, she achieved moderate success with singles like "Mirrors" and "Free." She also acted in short films and television shows.
In 2015, Natalia gained significant media attention for controversial comments as a judge on the New Zealand version of The X Factor, which led to her dismissal. That same year, she legally changed her name to Teddy Sinclair after marrying musician Willy Sinclair (Willy Moon). She then formed the band Cruel Youth with her husband, releasing their debut EP "+-" in 2016. The band's musical style incorporates soul and R&B. She also co-wrote the song "Kiss It Better" for Rihanna's 2016 album Anti. While still sometimes referred to by her former stage name, her current professional work is primarily under the name Teddy Sinclair as part of Cruel Youth. Her years active span 2002 to 2022. She is straight, with brown hair and eyes, 5'5" tall, and has a slim body type. She has several tattoos, including script on her arms, and ear piercings. She stopped using the name Natalia Kills professionally, but the legacy of her solo work remains.
