Her path into modeling began at 16 when she was crowned Miss Teen Wisconsin. That win caught the attention of Jeff and Mary Clarke, who scouted her for their agency, Mother Model Management. While they initially tried to place her in regular-size modeling, she ended up classified as "plus size." Dalbesio has been candid about not fitting neatly into that label, describing herself as an "in-betweener" in the fashion industry: her size 10 figure was too large for traditional jobs but too small for plus-size work. At times, she admitted to lying about her size, even stuffing her clothes, to secure jobs aimed at bigger women.

In 2014, after a visible weight loss, she appeared in Calvin Klein's Perfectly Fit underwear campaign. Four years later, she posed topless for Sports Illustrated. Standing 5'11" with a slim build, brown hair, and blue eyes, she has carved a distinctive space in modeling. Her listed in Sports Illustrated Babes, and she has an Instagram following of 110k. She remains straightforward about the contradictions in her career, owning the in-between space she occupies. Her measurements are 39-29-40, and she has a natural 34DD bust.
