Miriam Sylla, also spelled Myriam Fatime Sylla, is an Italian volleyball player of Ivorian descent, born in Palermo. She plays as a wing spiker or opposite. At 31, she has been active since 2011, starting when she was around 16. Standing 5'11" and weighing 176 lbs, she brings a powerful presence to the court. She is part of the Italy women's national volleyball team. Sylla has competed at major international events, including the 2015 European Games, the FIVB World Grand Prix, and the FIVB Nations League. Her crowning achievement came at the 2024 Summer Olympics, where she won a gold medal. With 15 years of professional experience, she remains a key player in Italian volleyball.
