Miranda Martino

Miranda Martino is a 92-year-old Italian actress and musician. She lived through the devastating bombings of World War II in Padua. At age seven, she moved with her family to Rome, where her career began thanks to her older sister Adriana, a chorister for the RAI and later a renowned opera singer. Miranda made her debut in 1955 at the "Voci Nuove" competition, held by RAI to select participants for the 1956 Sanremo Music Festival. She reached the final selection of twelve artists but failed to make the six performers chosen for the Festival. However, she secured a recording contract and began appearing on various radio and television programs. She posed nude for the Italian editions of Playboy and Playmen.
