Miranda Cosgrove

Miranda Cosgrove is an American actress, musician, singer, and producer whose career in entertainment began early in childhood and has continued for three decades. Born in Los Angeles, California, she was discovered while singing and dancing at a restaurant, and by 1996 she began working as a child performer. Her first major film role came in School of Rock (2003), followed by her breakout as Megan on Drake & Josh (2004) and then the lead in iCarly (2007).

Her music career took off alongside her acting success. She released two EPs, "About You Now" (2009) and "High Maintenance" (2011), and her debut album "Sparks Fly" (2010) reached number 8 on the Billboard 200 chart. In 2009, MTV named her a Pop Rookie.
