Minami Aizawa

Her decision to retire was shaped by personal loss. In her retirement statement, she revealed that her mentor, who also became her boyfriend and significant other, was diagnosed with leukemia in 2019 and later passed away. She considered quitting then, but chose to stay longer for her fans and those around her. There were also rumors that her relationship with her agency had grown strained.

Aizawa initially hoped to remain in the public eye, but by August 2024 she announced that it was impossible to separate herself from her former identity. She deleted all content from her TikTok and YouTube accounts and stated her intention to return "in a different form." That return came in October 2024, when she debuted as a music DJ under the name DJ pixeL, with her Instagram handle @pixel.im.dj. She has continued to build an audience, with over 43,000 YouTube subscribers and 16,000 Instagram followers on her new page. She is Japanese and Hong Konger by nationality, born in Hong Kong, and stands 5'1" with black hair, brown eyes, and a slim build. Her natural 31–21–32 measurements and C-cup bra size remain part of her public profile, though she no longer works as an AV idol. She is now 30 years old, and her focus has shifted to DJing and her continued presence as an influencer.
