Mina Oba

Mina Oba is a Japanese actress and former gravure idol from Kanagawa, Japan, who first stepped into the entertainment world in 2009 at around 18. She is best known for her decade-long tenure as an idol, most notably as a member and captain of SKE48's Team KII. Before that, she captained AKB48's Team 4 until a suspension in 2011, and she returned in January 2012, later transferring to Team B when the original Team 4 disbanded.

Oba announced her graduation from SKE48 in October 2021, marking her exit from the idol industry in April 2022, timed to her 30th birthday. Her three-part graduation concert ran from April 1 to 3, with the final day celebrating her birthday, and her last theater performance was on April 23. She was due to officially graduate on April 30, but a positive COVID-19 test on April 29 postponed her graduation to May 21.

Since leaving the idol world, Oba has continued as a YouTuber and musician, though she is no longer a gravure idol. In January 2023, she married Shuta Ishikawa, a pitcher for the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks. She stands 5'0" tall and has built a following of 94,000 on Instagram. At 34, she remains active in entertainment and online content creation.
