Miki Garcia

Petite at 5'4" and 104 lbs, Miki Garcia brought a slim, natural 38–22–36 figure to her time as a Playboy model. With black hair and brown eyes, she posed for the magazine's January 1973 US issue as Playmate of the Month, later appearing in German and Italian editions that same year. Miki is American with Latin ethnicity, born and raised partly in Kingman, Arizona. Her career as an adult model and centerfold lasted from 1972 to 1979, and she retired young. She started around age 25, working for seven years before moving on.

Her roots run deep in a military family. Her father served in the U.S. Air Force, stationed in Germany, Japan, Panama, and several U.S. states, including California, Florida, Hawaii, and Montana. Miki herself lived in many of those places before he retired into insurance. In California, she became Miss Sacramento and later worked as a commentator and ring girl for "Miss Wrestling" on Sacramento's KTXL-TV 40. She also helped with the Miss California Bikini Pageant at the state fair. After modeling, Miki rose to vice president at Playboy, staying for a decade. Her long run shows a woman who turned a brief career into lasting influence. But she stands out for more than her measurements.
