Michele Drake, born February 7, 1958 in La Jolla, California, is best remembered as Playboy's Playmate of the Month for May 1979. She is an American former actress and adult model, with a two-year career in the industry from 1979 to 1981. Her most notable acting role came in 1980's American Gigolo.

Beyond her modeling and acting, Michele's real passion was singing. She performed with the Singing Playmates group and today is part of an all-girl band that competes in karaoke contests. She is also involved in naturopathic medicine and is married with two children. She claims to be a direct descendant of Sir Francis Drake.
