Michael Michele

Michael Michele is an American actress and fashion designer with a career spanning four decades. Born in Evansville, Indiana, she first made her mark on stage before breaking into film with a role opposite Wesley Snipes in New Jack City (1991). During the 1990s, she starred in two CBS series, Dangerous Curves and Central Park West, and appeared on New York Undercover. She played Det. Rene Sheppard on Homicide: Life on the Street from 1998 to 1999, and then took on the role of Dr. Cleo Finch on ER, a part she held from 1999 to 2002.

Her film credits include The 6th Man, The Substitute 2: School's Out, Ali, Dark Blue, and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. More recently, she starred in Fox's Star (2017-2018) and joined The CW's Dynasty as Dominique Deveraux in 2019. With a slim build, brown hair, and brown eyes, she stands 5'9" tall. She is mixed-race and American. In addition to acting, she has worked as a fashion designer, bringing a creative eye to that field as well.
