About Mia Kovacs
Mia Kovacs was an American actress of Caucasian ethnicity, born on June 20, 1959, in the United States. She was the daughter of comedian Ernie Kovacs and singer/comedienne Edie Adams. Just as her acting career was beginning, she died in a vehicle accident on May 8, 1982, at the age of 22.
She was driving on Mulholland Drive when she lost control; the car went off the road and rolled. She was ejected through the sunroof and killed instantly. Her passenger sustained only minor injuries. Eerily, her father had died in a strikingly similar crash 20 years prior, losing control on Santa Monica Blvd. at Beverly Glen. Mia is buried next to her father and sister Kippie at Forest Lawn Glendale.
