Melissa Nathoo

Melissa Nathoo was born on Friday 31st of March 1989, in London, Greater London, England, United Kingdom. She is a 37-year-old British journalist and TV host of mixed-race (primarily Asian) heritage. Melissa holds a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Nottingham Trent University, and her career began in radio at Kiss 105-108 in the East of England, where she read weekend breakfast news and contributed to the show. She later covered news on weekday breakfast and drivetime shows, occasionally co-hosting during the breakfast program.

A self-avowed fan of Formula One racing, Melissa became one of the faces of the McLaren F1 Team's female merchandising campaign in 2010 and 2011, appearing alongside then-drivers Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton. In 2011, she was crowned Miss Mauritius GB 2011-12.
