Melanie Lynskey

She became a familiar face on television with her recurring role as Rose on Two and a Half Men (2003), where she played Charlie Sheen's unsettling admirer for over a decade. Lynskey then delivered a series of celebrated supporting performances in films like Away We Go (2009), Up in the Air (2009), The Informant! (2009), and Win Win (2011), and later headlined indie films such as Hello I Must Be Going (2012), Happy Christmas (2014), and The Intervention (2016), the latter earning her a Special Jury Prize at Sundance. She also appeared in The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012) and Don't Look Up (2021).

On television, she has been praised for roles in Togetherness (2015), Castle Rock (2018), and Mrs. America (2020). Her performance as Shauna in Showtime's Yellowjackets (2021) won her a Critics' Choice Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series in 2022. She continued to explore complex characters in Hulu's Candy (2022) and The Last of Us (2023). A native of New Plymouth, New Zealand, she is 5'7" with brown hair and brown eyes, and she has a tattoo on her left shoulder.
