Marketa Hrubesova

Marketa Hrubesova first appeared on screen in the 1988 film Oznamuje se láskám vašim, where she acted alongside Lukáš Vaculík. She was only 17 at the time, and her parents gave consent for her to film several erotic scenes. That role made her famous in Czechoslovakia.

Born in Prague on Friday, 17 March 1972, Marketa is a Czech actress and former model. She also worked as a Playboy model and has since expanded into presenting and writing. With her red hair and brown eyes, she stands 5'7" and has a natural, average build. She has been active in her career since 1988, which spans over three decades.

Beyond acting, Marketa has built a prolific writing career. In 2011, she began publishing cookbooks that accompany her TV cooking shows. Her 2014 beer cookbook, Rebel, is one of her notable titles. She also recorded the audiobook Cranberries in 2012. Inspired by traditional Czech cuisine, she edits her own recipes and has written children's storybooks as well. By 2020, her bibliography included six titles, some with second editions. Her husband often photographs the dishes for her books.
