Biography
About Maren Jensen
With her slim figure, brown hair, and blue eyes, Maren Jensen cuts a classic Californian silhouette. She stands 5'8" with measurements of 34–24–34 and a bra cup size of 34B. Born in Arcadia, California, in 1956, she is an American former actress and glamour model, active in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
Jensen attended Herbert Hoover High School from 1971 to 1974, then received a scholarship to UCLA, where she majored in theatre arts for three years. Despite appearing in several college productions, she later admitted, "I did absolutely nothing professional, not even the California equivalent of off-off-off-Broadway." Her career took off through modeling, including magazine covers for Cosmopolitan and Seventeen. Introduced to agent Barbara Gale by a mutual friend, Jensen was surprised by Gale's enthusiasm. That connection led to network commercials, a guest spot on The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries, and a starring role in Battlestar Galactica (1978). She also appeared in the films Beyond the Reef (1979) and Wes Craven's Deadly Blessing (1981). In 1978, she competed on Battle of the Network Stars V alongside Sharon Stone and other ABC personalities.
Her personal life is notable too. She is a middle child, with a brother Dana (five years older) and a sister Kathleen (seven years younger). Her father was a physician, and her mother worked as a membership secretary at the Los Angeles Zoo. Her hobbies were "almost all musical," including singing and playing piano. In the early 1980s, her career was interrupted by Epstein-Barr Syndrome. She was a longtime companion of Don Henley, became engaged to him, and separated in 1986. She appeared in Henley's video "Not Enough Love In the World" and helped him found The Walden Woods Project. Now known as Maren Kugelberg, she is married to Johan Kugelberg and lives in New York City.
She was single for a while, but that changed. She is now a wife and mother.
