Malin Akerman

Malin Maria Åkerman was born on 12 May 1978 in Stockholm, Sweden, but grew up in Ontario, Canada, where her family moved in the 1980s. She is a Swedish-American actress, model, and musician who began her career in 1997. Her early work included Canadian and American productions like The Utopian Society (2003) and Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle (2004).

Malin gained wider recognition with a supporting role on HBO's The Comeback (2005), followed by co-starring parts in The Heartbreak Kid (2007) and 27 Dresses (2008). She played Silk Spectre II in Watchmen (2009), earning a Saturn Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
