Biography
About Lygia Fazio
With a slim 36–26–39 figure and blonde hair, Lygia Fazio cut a striking figure in front of the camera. She worked as an adult model and a fitness model before moving into journalism. A Brazilian from Sao Paulo, she also became a social media influencer, amassing a large Instagram following. Straight and with brown eyes, she balanced her public career with raising two sons.
Fazio's life took a tragic turn after complications from a cosmetic procedure. She suffered a stroke linked to a botched butt lift using industrial silicone and PMMA fillers, performed three years before her death. She passed away on May 31, 2023, at age 40. In the years before, she had also been a muse for the Coritiba soccer team and performed with the samba school Acadêmicos do Grande Rio in Carnival. She ran for state deputy in 2022 but did not win.
