About Luisa Ferida
Luisa Ferida was an Italian actress who began her career on stage before making her film debut in a supporting role in La Freccia d'oro (1935). Her photogenic looks and talent quickly propelled her to leading parts by the end of the 1930s. In 1939, while working on An Adventure of Salvator Rosa, she met Osvaldo Valenti. They became romantically involved and had a son, Kim, who died four days after birth. Valenti had long been associated with Fascist officials, which placed him on the partisans' hit list.
