Loni Sanders

Born Jennifer Lynn Wren on January 12, 1958, in Los Angeles, she entered the adult industry in 1979 after being discovered by photographer Rupert Daines. Her mixed-race heritage, with an American father and a Japanese mother, made her one of the first Asian-American pornstars to gain fame. She began as an adult model, appearing in nude pictorials for magazines such as Gallery, Swank, Pub, and Genesis. Her most famous centerfold was the April 1980 issue of Penthouse.

In 1980, she met adult film star Mike Ranger on the set of a soft-core picture, and they later married. Initially, she performed in hardcore movies only with Ranger and other women, but eventually expanded to scenes with other male performers. Notable titles include Kiss and Tell (1980), Sexboat (1980), 8 to 4 (1981), Never So Deep (1981), Summer of '72 (1987), and Beauty (1981). She is bisexual and performed solo, girl-girl, and boy-girl scenes.

After divorcing Ranger, she quit full-time X-rated acting in the mid-'80s and became a production manager for Vivid Video, owned by her new boyfriend Steve Hirsch. She occasionally appeared in non-sexual cameo roles in films starring Ginger Lynn. She split with Hirsch in 1997. Loni Sanders has been inducted into both the AVN Hall of Fame and XRCO Hall of Fame. At 5'3" and 95 lbs, she has a slim build and natural breasts. She was active from 1979 to 1985. She is now 68 years old.
