Lisa Foiles

After a break from acting to take college writing courses, Foiles wrote articles for the gaming website Kotaku starting in 2009. She credits her love of video games with changing her life, and she says many later acting roles came from her involvement in the gaming industry. In 2010, she appeared in an episode of Leverage, began working with The Angry Joe Show, and worked as a production and graphic designer on several Hungry Girl books, two of which reached The New York Times Best Seller list. She also wrote for indie game company Soma Games. In 2011, she appeared in the Disney Digital Network miniseries The Street Fighter, the movie Your Friends Close (released in 2013), and voiced a character in the Xbox Live Arcade game Ms. Splosion Man. The following year brought roles in Adventures of the League of STEAM, SMBC Theater, a Cracked.com skit, the pilot of Spike TV's Yesterday Tonight, and a live-action The Legend of Zelda episode where she played Princess Zelda. She modeled for the "Girls of Geek" calendar, with proceeds going to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Foiles has red hair and blue eyes, stands 5'7", and has a slim build with natural breasts. She is married to producer Shawn Cloninger and lives in Las Vegas, Nevada, with their two children, a daughter born in September 2016 and a son in November 2018. As of May 2026, her Instagram following has reached 118k. She has been active for 25 years, since 2001.
