About Letitia Wright
Guyanese actress Letitia Wright was born on 31 October 1993 in Georgetown, Guyana. At age eight, she moved to London, England, where she attended Northumberland Park Community School. She began her career with guest roles in TV series including Top Boy, Coming Up, Chasing Shadows, Humans, Doctor Who, and Black Mirror.
Wright co-starred in the 2018 film Black Panther, playing Shuri, King T'Challa's sister and princess of Wakanda. She returned as Shuri for the sequel, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, where her character becomes the new Black Panther after T'Challa's death. That film marked her first leading role. Standing 5'5" with a slim build, she has black hair and brown eyes.
