About Lena Headey
Lena Headey first caught the world's eye as Cersei Lannister on Game of Thrones, a role that earned her five Emmy nominations and a Golden Globe nod. Born in Hamilton, Bermuda, she holds Bermudian and British nationality. Her career spans over three decades, beginning with a film debut in 1992's The Clothes in the Wardrobe. From there, she moved through British and American productions, gaining recognition in films like The Brothers Grimm and 300, where she played Queen Gorgo. Her filmography also includes Dredd, The Purge, and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. On television, she starred as Sarah Connor in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and lent her voice to various animated projects, including Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance.
Headey's tattoos are a notable part of her public persona, with each piece holding personal meaning. Her right shoulder and upper arm feature Ganesha and a lotus, while a colored lotus surrounded by cherry blossoms sits between her shoulder blades. Inside her left wrist are the names "Loughran" and "Wylie," her sons, along with birds. A heart with "FOR KEEPS" and "TRW" adorns her left forearm, and an upside-down birdcage with an open door is inked on her right forearm. Other designs include a scarab beetle on her right hand, a dragonfly on her left foot, and a quote on her left ribs: "Can't we just return to the bare bones can't we just come back." She also has a small dot between the second and third joint on each finger of both hands.
Off screen, Headey has been married twice. She wed musician Peter Loughran in 2007, and they had a son before separating in 2011 and finalizing their divorce in 2013. In 2015, she had a daughter with filmmaker Dan Cadan, a childhood friend. She spoke openly about experiencing postnatal depression after her son's birth. In 2022, she married actor Marc Menchaca, whom she had been dating since 2020. Standing at five-foot-five with green eyes and brown hair, she maintains an average build and has natural breasts with a 32B cup size.
