Lela Rochon, born Lela Rochon Staples on April 17, 1964, is an American actress. She grew up in Torrance, California. Rochon began acting in 1984, and her breakout role came in 1995 with the romantic drama Waiting to Exhale, where she played Robin Stokes.
Over a career spanning more than four decades, she has appeared in films such as Harlem Nights, Boomerang, The Chamber, Gang Related, Knock Off, Why Do Fools Fall in Love, and Any Given Sunday.
