Biography
About Leilani Soares
Leilani Soares, a former American actress and Playboy model, was born on December 4, 1965, in Redondo Beach, California. She is of mixed-race heritage, with a father of Hawaiian-Japanese descent and a mother of Spanish-Irish ancestry. Growing up in Southern California, she shared a close bond with her sister Alana, who also became a Playboy model. Leilani began her career in the mid-1980s, and her time in the spotlight was brief but memorable.
Leilani's most notable work came in 1985 when she and her sister Alana posed together for a Playboy pictorial titled "Playmate Sisters." This April 1985 feature was a rare instance of sibling models appearing together, and it remains a standout moment in Playboy history. In addition to her modeling, Leilani pursued acting, with roles in TV series such as The Fall Guy (1983) and films like Beverly Hills Cop II (1987). Her career spanned the 1980s and into the early 1990s, but she gradually stepped away from the public eye after that.
Throughout her career, Leilani was known for her petite frame, standing at 5'2" with a slim build and natural measurements of 34-24-36. She had brown hair and hazel eyes. While she did not achieve the same level of fame as her sister Alana, Leilani's contributions to Playboy and her acting work are still remembered by fans and collectors. She has largely kept her personal life private, with no public reports of marriage or dating. Her legacy endures, particularly for her collaboration with Alana, which immortalized the Soares sisters as one of the most memorable sibling duos in Playboy history.
