Leilani Mitchell

Leilani Seamah Mitchell, born June 15, 1985, is an American-Australian professional basketball player. She was drafted 25th overall by the Phoenix Mercury in the 2008 WNBA draft. Mitchell is a dual citizen of the United States and Australia. She plays for the Southside Flyers of the Women's National Basketball League (WNBL) and is a member of the Australian women's national team, the Opals. In 2019, she became the first WNBA player to win the Most Improved Player Award twice. She competed at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics with the Opals. At 5'5" and 145 lbs, she has an average build.
