Laurie Modugno

Laurie's journey into fitness began around 43 years old, when she set a New Year's resolution in early 2022 to focus on her well-being. Since then, she has competed in natural, drug-tested figure divisions under the Canadian Physique Alliance (CPA). She has earned multiple gold medals and first-place finishes, including at the 2022 CPA Classique Naturelle Mike Clement and the 2022 CPA Natural Canada Pro Qualifier. In 2023, she placed second in her class at the same event, and she continued competing in 2024.

Before bodybuilding, Laurie built a career as a pastry chef, working in the field for over two decades. She trained in cooking and French pastry at Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa, and she owns a business called Lauriginale Cake Design, also known as Lauriginale in the Kitchen. She describes herself as the "Cake Boss Lady," specializing in luxury custom cakes and desserts in the Greater Montreal area. Laurie is also a mother of three and often shares glimpses of her family, dogs, and daily life on social media, where she has a following of 3,000 on Instagram. She has appeared on podcasts and YouTube interviews discussing her varied roles as a bodybuilder, pastry chef, and mom.
