Lauren Sanchez

Lauren Sanchez is a 56-year-old American presenter and TV host with Latin ethnicity, born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on December 19, 1969. She is a third-generation Mexican-American and was raised in California. Early on, she applied to be an air stewardess but was told she weighed too much, so she pivoted to journalism, studying at the University of Southern California before leaving in 1994 to pursue broadcast journalism. At age 40, she became a licensed helicopter pilot, inspired by her father, a flight instructor.
