About Lauren Flymen
Lauren Flymen first picked up a skipping rope in April 2020, when gyms in the U.K. closed. She was a weightlifter before that, working as a sales manager. She was furloughed during 2020, and soon after, she began posting videos of herself doing skipping tricks on her lauren.jumps Instagram account. Her athletic build and natural abilities helped her gain a following quickly. She has earned more than 1.4 million followers on that account and is also active on her lauren.jumps TikTok. Eventually, she quit her job to focus on skipping full-time, and she even sold her own range of ropes and mats. In 2020, she had to postpone her wedding because of the pandemic.
